10/30/03 - i saw the northern lights at first encounter beach guys...its was so cool. it started out as dim white fog, then it got more defined as an arch type thing. Soon lines of white were sticking up from it and they had red tips. then some would go away and more would come back...it was awesome. i would say it was the coolest thing ive ever seen.
